Relationships Australia
Relationships Australia is ‘an innovative, not-for-profit, community-based organisation dedicated to enhancing wellbeing through better relationships’. Their services include counselling, mediation and education.
Relationships Australia is not essentially a gay oriented organisation.
If you call its 1300 number you will be connected to your local Relationships Australia service.
NSW Women Partners of Bisexual Men
A resource for heterosexual partners of Gay and Bisexual men.
Mature Age Gay (MAG) Sydney
Otherwise known as Mature Age Gay Sydney, or MAG; is a social club for gay and bi sexual men and our supporters. We care for each other, sharing friendships and affection with people in similar situations so as to lead a full life as possible.
Interrelate Family Centres
Interrelate Family Centres have been in existence since 1926, helping individuals, couples, families and children to work through life’s challenges and improve relationships. They mostly operate in regional centres where there is no office for Relationships Australia.
Gay Friendly GPs
When it comes to sexual health, lots of gay men like to speak with a supportive doctor who understands the ins and outs of gay sex.
Visit the ACON website to download a full list of Gay-Friendly GPs. Website link provided here.
GAMMA Hotline Phone Support
GAMMA is a peer support service for men who have been in long term heterosexual relationships and are coming to terms with their same sex attraction.
As well as meetings, GAMMA operates a phone support line. If you ring us, you will not be talking to a call centre but to a competent trained GAMMA member who has been on similar journey to yourself. Anyone is welcome to call for support, information and referrals.
The service has a Freecall number and you can ring from anywhere in New South Wales for the price of a local call.
So, if you’ve got a problem you’d like to discuss, or are hesitant about coming to a meeting in person, or simply not able to get to Sydney easily, please give us a call.
